That's not exactly true, but a lot of fine folks have made the effort to visit this gem of a store tucked away behind The Vitamin Store and Starbucks at 47 Middlesex Turnpike. With a decent amount of floor space for keyboards and PA but oodles of vertical space, you've got to look up when you enter the door. You'll see that tons of guitars, drumsets and a full complement of accessories are plastered all over the walls. Our pleasant and eager sales staff will provide all the answers to your questions and yes, they'll even climb the ladder to get you that special guitar right on the top row! Just down the street from the Burlington Mall, it's worth the trip.

We started downtown with our first two stores, relocated out by the highway in the present Mortgage Specialists building and finally to our present location on South Willow. Daddy's Williston Store Hours: Mon-Fri 11-9, Sat 10-7, Sun 12-6. The breathtakingly beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont just got a little better looking as Daddy's store #21 has opened in Williston. An enthusiastic crowd gathered at the store on the weekend of August 27, 2004 to celebrate the grand opening and things have only gotten better since then. As you enter the store, the 75' long guitar wall grabs your attention with a colorful display of hundreds of the best of new and used electric guitars. Immediately to your left is the naturally peaceful acoustic room that boasts dozens and dozens of acoustic guitars. With complete displays of the most popular PA, recording, sound processing, percussion and keyboard equipment, musical shopping in Vermont just got a lot easier.

To just say that the Dedham Daddy's is conveniently located close to parts of Boston (J.P. and Dorchester) and the southern suburbs (Dedham, Needham, etc.) doesn't really do it justice. This store is a vital and important part of the local music scene. Not only does Dedham feature an active lesson program, headed up by Nick Vecchio, but its veteran crew of salesmen can deliver the best in new and used gear to you easily and efficiently. One of our best "smaller format" stores, Dedham should be on your list of Daddy's stores to visit. Whether you're coming from Boston or the 'burbs, it's worth the visit.

In the late 1970s, the clear, full and powerful SWR bass sound existed only in the mind of company founder Steve W. Rabe. He simply thought that bass amps should sound better, and he envisioned a bass sound that would satisfy the needs of professional players at the highest level. He visited studios, asking the pros working in Los Angeles what they thought. “They all just pointed their fingers at the studio monitors and said, ‘Make a bass amp sound like that, ‘cause that’s what a bass is supposed to sound like, ’" Rabe said. "So that meant hi-fi, clean, full range.” With that ideology, SWR was born. The SWR sound was brought to life after a painstakingly long research process in which designers tried out many different electronic circuits for the preamp, the tone circuit, the power amp and everything in between.
