Gebert Contemporary was founded in Santa Fe NM as Chiaroscuro Gallery in 2000 by the Gebert Family. The Scottsdale, Arizona gallery was founded the following year as Chiaroscuro Gallery and becoming Gebert Contemporary in 2008. The Santa Fe gallery became Gebert Contemporary in January 2007. Julie Hatch, the owner and artist of Bloomingtiles has been hand-painting tile for her clients since 1984. For many years Julie has searched for a way to reproduce her artwork in limited editions while maintaining the appearance, durability and rich color of hand-painted tile.
