The Treasure Island Job Corps Center is located in the center of San Francisco Bay on Treasure Island. The Bay Bridge that connects Oakland and the City of San Francisco is anchored on the combined Yerba Buena/Treasure Island location. Treasure Island was the site of the World’s Fair in the early 1900s and was later converted to military use as a naval base during World War II. It continued as a combined U.S. Coast Guard and Naval facility into the 1990s. A Coast Guard presence remains.

RCTV-15 is the public access television station for the city of Rochester, NY. At RCTV-15 we strengthen our community by putting powerful communication tools into the hands of ordinary citizens. Rochester Community Television, Inc. gives all Rochester residents both a forum for the free expression of ideas, and the expertise and technology to share them. We provide a non-commercial "green space" that promotes community and strengthens democracy. We will air your program (see how to get your show on the air) or videotaped public service announcement at no charge. We also offer low-cost production and digital editing classes.

Founded in 1937, the School of Art is named for Lamar Dodd who as a young man in the 1920's traveled from his home in Georgia to New York to be part of the Art Student's League. There he learned from and worked with many of the luminaries of American art. He returned to Georgia to head the Art Department at the University of Georgia from 1939 until his retirement in 1972. Under his leadership, the department grew significantly. The department was renamed the Lamar Dodd School of Art in 1996. Today the School has more than 1000 art majors and the program is housed in 7 different buildings on campus. The school continues to thrive and expand. Plans are now underway for a new multi- million dollar art complex that will include state-of-the- art modern studios, lecture halls, galleries, and a media center. The new building will be located next to the Georgia Museum of Art, the School of Music, and the Performing Arts Center and will house academic and studio programs.
