Team Indiana was built with a strong foundation for the passion of volleyball in 2003. Kevin Kelley saw the desire among CYO athletes to develop a more competitive volleyball experience. The result was the formation of North Side Volleyball Club. Kevin transformed a portion of his warehouse into a full-size sport court. His CYO team led the way of the humble beginning of Team Indiana Volleyball.

The library for the 8th Circuit began as a one-person operation in 1896. In 1948 Congress authorized all circuits to hire librarians. In 1971 the 8th Circuit hired its first professionally-trained librarian. The staff was expanded a few years later to include a clerical assistant and a library assistant. Over the years the growth of the library paralleled that of the Judiciary. As the caseload and number of judges increased, so did the body of law, the number of legal research resources, and consequently the library staff. We now have one headquarters library in St. Louis and nine branch libraries located throughout the Circuit.

Training is open entry, open exit, whereby students can enter training at any time. Just as there is no specific start time, training has no set course length. Students progress through training at their own pace, progressing only when they have shown competency in a particular area. In traditional training models, students graduate at the same time, though with varying skill levels. In the CET model of training, the skill level of trainees is constant, while course completion time is the variable. Students are confident in their abilities, while employers are ensured quality workers.

CET training centers operate year-round, featuring open-entry, open-exit, competency-based training; there are no fixed "semesters". Students train at their own pace in a highly individualized, non-competitive environment, with over 60% of the training conducted in a hands-on environment. An intensive program — students attend year-round, 6 - 7 hours a day, 5 days a week for an average of 7 months. Classes are conducted for small groups of students which reinforces the individualized training focus; a critical element in the contextual learning model.

In order to make it possible for students to obtain the necessary job skills, CET integrates basic education in reading and mathematics as well as Vocational English as a Second Language instruction for those who have had less formal education or who have limited English-speaking proficiency. Vocational English and basic education skills are integrated into skill training and are taught in the context of the specific occupational skill in which the student is enrolled. An area of special interest in Life Skills is drug awareness and substance abuse prevention. CET follows Federal Drug Prevention and Awareness program guidelines. CET instructors spend time covering the effects of drugs, alcohol, and other substances on the individual, the family, and the community.

For each CET student, the goal is to obtain a permanent, unsubsidized, well-paying entry-level position with benefits, and continued growth potential. CET is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty & dependence on public aid by making hands-on job training available to youth and adults of all educational levels & backgrounds, but especially to those most in need and hardest to serve. The mission of CET, an economic and community development corporation is to promote human development and education by providing people with marketable skills training and supportive services that contribute to self-sufficiency.

In program year 2008-2009 CET operated training centers providing training and placement services to 5929 individuals in 17 communities across the nation. The great majority of those served included youth and adults with significant employment barriers. Providing job training and placement alternatives to those with multiple barriers, of course, has been the forte of CET since its inception. Nearly half of the participants served were individuals who dropped out of elementary or high school. The percentage of persons with Limited English Proficiency was 29%. Thos typically served by CET include Public Assistance Recipients, Homeless, At-Risk Youth, Dislocated Workers, Migrant & Seasonal Farm Workers, and other unemployed persons.

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina serves 44 North Carolina counties from Raleigh to the Atlantic coast. The Clerk of Court has staffed offices in Greenville, Raleigh, and Wilmington. Court is held in six cities in the District: Elizabeth City, Fayetteville, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, and Wilmington. The Offices are open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of Federal Holidays, or by order of the court. Pleadings may be filed in the Office of the Clerk in Raleigh, Greenville, or Wilmington regardless of the division or judge to which the case is assigned.

Information Technology Services is responsible for imagining, developing, and guiding the future of technology on the Gonzaga University campus. The division's work takes it throughout the institution as technology becomes an ever more integral part of university life. Division technicians find themselves working with faculty in the classroom, with students in their dorms, in research labs, behind scoreboards in the Martin Centre, and within the ITS operations center streaming multimedia presentations to dozens of sites around the nation and around the world or implementing, maintaining, securing, and supporting the complex technology infrastructure upon which the University relies. In the course of its daily activities the division works with every department on campus to coordinate the effective use of information technology for the University. The division is composed of four primary units.

In 1912 Marquette University acquired the Trinity Hospital Training School for Nursing and the nurses' residence. Quickly following that acquisition the nursing school became a division of higher education at Marquette and graduated 18 nursing students. At that time, Marquette University was the only university in Wisconsin to offer a three-year nursing certificate. In 1936, the College of Nursing became a constituent college of Marquette University with a four-year collegiate program designed by the College's first dean, Dr. Berenice Beck, OSF. The College of Nursing now offers a curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, a Masters of Science in Nursing degree, a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing degree and has a wide array of offerings for those pursuing a career in nursing. To date, over 6, 500 people have graduated from Marquette's nursing programs.
