Dr. Snodgrass grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, he attended Rogers State College and Northeastern State University where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986. In that same year, he and his research partner won The American Public Health Association Outstanding Vision Research Award. His first year of practice was spent at an eye clinic in Brisbane, Australia that specialized in children’s vision. He came back to Oklahoma to continue his career and started his own practice at the Tulsa Eye Clinic. He has been at this same well-established location since 1987.

When you have questions about your treatment or eye problems, please feel free to call us at any time. Our technical and office staff are trained to answer most of the questions you may have. If one of them is unable to assist you, one of our doctors will be consulted, and your call will be returned. We always try to avoid undue delays in returning calls. At Eye Care Associates, your visit is important to us. You can expect to be treated as an individual, not just another patient, regardless of the reason for your visit. If you are having a complete or comprehensive eye examination, your visit will begin with a qualified technician or assistant who will measure your vision and eye movement, perform a preliminary lens refraction, test eye pressure for glaucoma, and apply drops to dilate the pupils in preparation for the medical portion of your exam. After the dilating drops have taken effect, which requires between 15 and 30 minutes, a doctor will examine your eyes for disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal problems. The doctor will then explain the results of your examination and give instructions for future care.
