PRAYER CHAPEL AUGUSTA

Aldersgate United Methodist Church began on September 9, 1962, when ten families joined together and took a great step of faith in organizing a new Methodist church. Over the past four decades, Aldersgate has continued to grow as a dynamic church in the North Georgia Conference. We offer a wide range of ministries and opportunites to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, through whom we acknowledge God's gifts, and we repent of our sin in misusing these gifts to idolatrous ends. So we gather regularly with our congregation and put money into the offering plate, and through a carefully crafted system of United Methodist mission and ministry our gifts stretch around the world.
