We believe that Saint Anna Catholic School is a great gift to the parishes and community of Leominster as well as to the Diocese of Worcester. St. Anna School teaches Catholic virtues in a faith-centered community, preparing students to become strong, intelligent persons, who love God and accept life-long responsibility for themselves and others. St. Anna has been serving students in Leominster and neighboring towns for over 50 years. St. Anna School, with grades Pre-Kindergarten to 8, is part of the Catholic School Department of the Diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts. The idea of opening a parish school began shortly after World War II. Up until then, children of the parishioners of St. Anna Parish had enrolled in other parochial schools in the city of Leominster. Because of overcrowding conditions city-wide, the parochial schools were forced to limit their enrollment to the children of their own parishes.

Business hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Since 1948, the Madison edition of the Catholic Herald has served as the official newspaper of the Diocese of Madison. The Diocese of Madison was established in 1946. Bishop William P. O'Connor decided that Madison, which had been previously served by the Catholic papers from La Crosse and Milwaukee, needed a paper of its own and appointed Msgr. Andrew R. Breines as the first editor. From 1948 until his retirement in 1986, Monsignor Breines worked both as a parish priest and as editor, covering the many changes the church experienced during that period. A highlight was the historic Second Vatican Council in the 1960s. Monsignor Breines attended and reported on all sessions of that council for the Madison-area readership.
