ÉLAN INSTITUTE FOR PLASTIC SURGERY

Élan is derived from the French work eslan. The word Élan is synonymous with style, flair and pizzazz. At our institute, we strive to provide the highest quality of plastic surgery in a professional and ethical manner, "with style " so to speak.

Our Medical Director, Michael A. Jazayeri, M.D., has been in private practice in Orange County since 1999. He is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His decision to become a plastic surgeon was based upon a desire to combine his artistic abilities as a classical guitar player and photographer, with the immediate gratification obtained by surgery.

Dr. Jazayeri graduated Magna cum Laude from University of California, Irvine. He obtained his medical degree from the prestigious University of Southern California. Dr. Jazayeri then completed five years of surgical training at University of Illinois in Chicago. An additional year of training was spent at Shriners Hospital of Los Angeles, where he managed challenging cosmetic and reconstructive deformities of patients with chronic burns. Dr. Jazayeri gained extensive experience in scar revision and tissue expansion. This was followed by three additional years of training in Plastic Surgery at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco and Medical College of Ohio.

Dr. Jazayeri is on staff and has admitting privileges at several hospitals in Orange County.

Dr. Jazayeri is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He is also an avid photographer. Some of his work have been published or have won awards in various competitions

At our med-spa, we offer non-surgical ancillary services to our patients. These services include skin care, laser hair removal, and short recovery laser resurfacing.
