1st Way is a nonprofit, faith-based agency affiliated with Heartbeat International, Care Net and the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA). 1st Way Pregnancy Support Center was founded in 1978. It has grown from three small counseling offices to a medical clinic with counseling rooms, an exam room, a meeting room, a clothing room and staff offices. The purpose of 1st Way is to bring help and hope to women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, by offering emotional, physical and spiritual support, and to provide opportunity for healing and restoration to those who have post-abortion needs. 1st Way is a nonprofit agency that offers its services free of charge because of the generous donations of those who support the vision and mission of 1st Way.
