Beware this Rip Off Company
DanaBeware this company, be very carefull before you sign anything at all...they are very good at getting you to sign a authorization form which states they will charge you hundreds of dollars in order to diagnose your repairs. Problem is you do not get a extimate of the dollar amount of the repair until after you sign this little form. I signed it and my estimate was $4700.00 to rebuild a transmission on a toytoa Camry. I called Toyota and got a cost on a brand new transmission of 2800.00 dollars. When I told AASTRO this things got nasty. I told them I wanted my car back they told me I owed them $575 diagnostic fee! I called the cops to help me get my car back...turns out they could only extort me for 375 dollars per the extortion fee form they smoothly had me sign assuring me how great all would be...Don't make the same mistake I did people... when I got my car back after paying the extortion fees the transmission was in pieces in my trunk. I took it to Gallo on Stone and was told that parts where missing!! I believe they did this because I called the cops and didn't have to pay the 575 extortion fee they wanted. Gallo fixed it for less than 2500 dollars...treated my very fair...Beware of this company!!! They are liars and rip offs!! Dana S.
