A Higher Bounce is owned and operated by Blake and Margaret Hemric. A Higher Bounce was started in April of 2001 as an act of faith and a desire to have a debt-free family business. At the time, Blake worked 2 jobs and Margaret was a stay-at-home Mom homeschooling their children. Their goal was to not only provide a quality service at an affordable price and to create a safe product for their customers, but also to work together as a family.

Although A Higher Bounce began with just 3 inflatables, they now have 17 different inflatables and an awesome rock climbing wall and have serviced all of North Carolina. They love what they do and believe the Lord has truly blessed their business beyond what they ever imagined. They are also closing in on fulfilling their goal of becoming debt-free.

Margaret is the CEO and office manager and the one you will usually talk to on the phone. Blake is not only the CFO, but also handles the logistics and some of the scheduling. Their sons, William and Thomas are an integral part of A Higher Bounce. They help out wherever is necessary, including with some of the tremendous amount of phone calls received daily. Because their business schedule sometimes interferes with the normal school schedule, homeschooling the boys has been a huge blessing for them.

Any and all employees of A Higher Bounce have a true heart for the Lord, for Children, and for both having and providing Fun. Most of the employees have been with A Higher Bounce, in some capacity, from the very beginning. All employees must go through annual training every year to make sure they're up-to-date on current rules and regulations and in compliance with the Manufacturers and/or the NC Department of Labor.

In order for their products and services to be safe for everyone, Blake has been actively involved in A-irco (Association of Inflatable Rental Companies) for many years and is now A-irco's current president. A-irco's primary function is accountability for all rental companies worldwide. Membership requires strict adherence to global safety practices, policies and procedures.
