A-Z Women's Center is a private medical office, owned and operated by William Ramos, M.D., an American Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

A-Z Women’s Center’s staff is dedicated to a woman's right to choose. We recognize the difficult decisions women face everyday. We will provide you with the emotional support and the educational information you need in order for you to make the best decision possible.

We believe that you have the ability and the right to make your own choice about the very personal and important decision of pregnancy, and we respect and trust your choice.

-Z Women’s Center currently provides abortions up to 18.6 weeks gestation based on ultrasound examination. All patients must have an ultrasound (sonogram), which is included in the basic fee. An ultrasound is necessary to confirm the pregnancy and insure proper calculation of the gestational age. All doctors date pregnancies from the first day of your LAST MENSTRUAL PERIOD, not from the date of conception.

Other Services:

We offer two types of pregnancy tests: A high-sensitivity urine test is offered to anyone who is 5 to 12 weeks past the last menstrual period.

It takes 30 minutes to get results for the blood test. The blood test will accurately detect pregnancy as long as it has been 10-14 days since the last time you may have conceived.

Included with either test is a written confirmation of pregnancy.

Birth Control Counseling and Educational Materials; Birth Control Injection ("the shot"); Bladder Infection Testing and Treatment; Breast Examinations; Cervical Cancer Screening; Family Planning Services; Pregnancy Option Counseling; Pregnancy Testing (urine and blood); Referrals for OB Care; STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Testing and Treatment; Tampon Removal; Ultrasounds; Urinary Tract Infection Detection and Treatment; Vaginal Infection Detection and Treatment; Vasectomy (permanent sterilization for men).
