As the largest hospital-based program of its kind in the country, the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing is setting national standards for enhancing health care through an integrative health approach. We do this by:

blending complementary therapies, integrative medicine and conventional Western medicine; providing services to inpatients and outpatients

educating health care professionals; teaching community members about health promotion and self-healing practices; conducting research to identify best practices of integrative health and the impact of these services on health care costs.

acupuncture/Oriental Medicine; Ayurveda; biofeedback; energy healing; healing coaching; herbal consultation; integrative medicine physician consultation; integrative nutrition counseling; massage therapy; mind/body therapies including biofeedback; spiritual coaching; therapeutic yoga; Resilience Training; classes and workshops on aromatherapy, drum circle, healing through the arts and more.The Penny George Institute's inpatient services include:

acupressure, acupuncture, aromatherapy, energy healing including Reiki and healing touch

healing arts, Korean hand therapy, mind/bod therapies including relaxation response, guided imagery and biofeedback, music therapy, reflexology, therapeutic massage, other relaxation and stress reduction therapies. The Penny George Institute came into existence in 2003 through the visionary support of the George Family Foundation and the Ted and Roberta Mann Foundation.
