Dr. Kou has extensive experience in the treatment of diverse acute and chronic conditions, including cancer and related blood disorders, acute viral infections, pain management, autoimmune diseases, allergies and asthma, gynecologic disorders, GI disorders such as ulcerative colitis and crohn’s disease, arthritis, and diabetes.

Dr. Mengke Kou, distinguished practitioner of Classical and Traditional Chinese Medicine, established the AcuHerbal Health Clinic in Portland in 2002.

Herbal formulas, individually prepared for each patient according to his or her specific needs, provide the foundation for Dr. Kou’s treatments. He also utilizes Qi Gong and acupuncture, as well as cupping and moxibustion when indicated.
