The Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic was established by Dr. Kevin Pett in 2002 to offer natural health alternatives to those patients seeking control and resolution of their health concerns through Oriental medicine.

The Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic is a patient based practice that was established

to provide patients with affordable, yet exceptional, natural healing alternatives to health issues and concerns through the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

To accomplish these goals the Clinic utilizes Traditional Oriental Medicine. Oriental Medicine is a 3000 year old evidence based medical system that includes the application of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, nutritional counseling, and environmental management.

The diagnosis and treatment(s) administered to patients are based on the theory and practice of TCM. Dr. Kevin Pett is a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Virginia and, and is licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the state of New Mexico. He holds a PhD in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is NCCAOM Board Certified in Chinese Herbology and Acupuncture and is a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology and Acupuncture. Dr. Pett follows an integrated approach to health and healing in his practice emphasizing nutrition, herbal medicine, and acupuncture.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we make an effort to educate our patients to be more aware of their body, and play a more active role in their health care. This increased personal involvement helps patients maintain a better state of health, prevents future health problems, and reduces the number of treatments necessary.
