ADRIEN BISSON PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a people photographer. I create environmental portraits and studio photography for corporate, editorial and other commercial clients. I can think of no more interesting subject matter than people. No two people are alike. And no one person will look exactly the same on different days or in different settings. That is what makes my work so interesting and exciting.

I have been photographing since I was about 16, after discovered my father’s darkroom equipment in storage. He let me set it up in the basement and after a few lessons I was hooked on the process of creating a black and white image and seeing it come to life in the tray of chemicals. I photographed what was around me, which was often nature and small still-life compositions. Eventually, I was shooting for the local newspapers and taking family portraits...which, at the time, were portraits of my family. After studying music and performing around Boston, I entered the corporate world, where I stayed for more years than I want to admit. Now, each day, I look forward to my next opportunity to work with someone new, painting them with light, drawing them out, and capturing forever what makes them unique and special.
