We specialize in: bunions, hammer toes, heel pain, orthotics, diabetic foot care, wound care, ingrown toenails, neuroma (nerve swelling and pain), foot and ankle sprains, stress fractures, sports injuries, children's and adolescent foot problems, bone spurs, tendonitis, warts and other skin problems of the foot and ankle.

Used to treat chronic plantar fasciitis, Shockwave Therapy has emerged as a non-surgical option for those patients that suffer from heel pain. Sound waves are applied directly to the heel creating new blood flow to the area of pain. The procedure is about 20 minutes in duration and is done under local anesthetic in our office. Biomechanics involves the study of the body in motion. Biomechanical orthotics are prescription inserts made from neutral foot position casts. Professional orthotics are made from impressions of your feet. The devices are custom made for your feet only. There are many braces that we recommend, however there are two basic types. The first is a brace that allows for normal ankle joint flexion. This one is used for more active patients with less severe pathology. Advanced Foot Care Center is an authorized Medicare Supplier to evaluate, prescribe and dispense high quality shoes and 3 pairs of removable protective shoe inserts per calendar year. Many diabetic patients qualify for this benefit and Medicare will pay 80% of the cost for the shoes and insoles and your supplemental insurance should pay the other 20%.
