AdventureCORPS, Inc., an event production firm specializing in ultra-endurance and extreme sports events, hosts the Badwater Ultramarathon annually in July of each year. Recognized globally as "the world's toughest foot race, " this legendary event pits approximately 90 of the world's toughest athletes—runners, triathletes, adventure racers, and mountaineers—against one another and the elements. Covering 135 miles (217km) non-stop from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney, CA in temperatures up to 130F (55c), it is the most demanding and extreme running race offered anywhere on the planet. The 34th anniversary edition will be held July 11-13, 2011.

AdventureCORPS is, first and foremost, a special event production firm. We annually produce the legendary Furnace Creek 508 and Badwater Ultramarathon races, Hell's Gate Hundred, Mount Laguna Bicycle Classic, Rough Riders Rally, and the twice-per-year Death Valley Century and Double Century (March and October). New AdventureCORPS creations are in the works.

Furnace Creek 508™, "The toughest 48 hours in sport, " has been an AdventureCORPS event held annually in October in Death Valley and the Mojave Desert since 1990, but it dates back to 1983 under the directorship of John Marino, founder of the Great American Bicycle Race and the Race Across America (RAAM). This 508 mile bicycle race - "Where the West is Won!" - is revered the world over for its epic mountain vistas, stark desert scenery, desolate roads, and its reputation as one of the toughest but most gratifying endurance challenges available, bar none. Solo, tandem, and relay divisions are offered in this exciting and unusual bicycle race. 48 hour time limit. 35, 000 feet of elevation gain. Our 27th anniversary edition will be held in October, 2010.
