Alexandra Foods Company was founded in 1992 by Polish natives, Mark & Alexandra Dembicki. Upon their arrival in America at just 25 years old, the couple planned on starting their own business in their new home. After saving some money they decided to embark upon their path to the American dream. After 5 years of long hours, and often two jobs to cover expenses, their hard work finally started to pay off. Business started to steadily increase. After just 2 years of successful sales during 1997-1998, the couple realized they had hit a home run. Plans and investments pushed forward and the company continued its excellent growth.

Today Alexandra Foods is a well-known established business. It is one of the few USDA inspected pierogi plants in the entire United States. Both the owners and employees are proud of their excellent product reviews and comments about Alexandra's fabulous pierogi. Alexandra Foods now distributes 15 different pierogi styles and a variety of other native products as well.

Because of their great success, Alexandra Foods is a constantly growing company. Owners Mark and Alexandra believe that no matter how big the company gets, their dedication and product quality will always be job one. This is what has driven the business to success and shall continue to do so, well into the future.

As you might already know, Chicago is a wonderful city with many different nationalities including a big population of Polish people. Our homemade pierogi were quickly introduced throughout the city and suburbs. At this time we have more and more customers that buy and enjoy our pierogi, who don’t have Polish heritage. With growing popularity there is bigger demand on the food market for our tasty pierogi. Alexandra’s Pierogi can be purchased not only in Chicagoland area but also at many different retail locations throughout United States.
