The Alexandria Clinic, P.A. was established in 1946. We are in the unique position of caring for second- and third-generation families. We are a multi-specialty clinic including the following specialties: Express Care, Family Practice, General Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, Hospitalist, Internal Medicine, Midwifery, Nurse Practitioner, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Podiatry and Urology.

All of our physicians are board certified in their specialty and are members of the Minnesota Medical Association. We have on-site CT, digital mammography, general x-ray, and full-time laboratory services to facilitate our providers in diagnosing your health-care concerns.

Family Practice is a medical specialty designed to provide comprehensive health care for the individual and the family. Our Family Practice Department sees patients of all ages and provides care with the entire family in mind. The Family Practice physicians schedule regular appointments for routine care, but also provide urgent, unscheduled and after hours care through our Express Care Department.

The Express Care Department is staffed with specially trained physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses. Express Care services are available for conditions that require same-day attention. While Express Care is appropriate for non-critical emergencies, the majority of your care should be delivered by your personal provider. You are strongly encouraged to schedule before visiting Express Care as walk-in patients may face a longer wait based upon available time and seriousness of their problem.

Internal medicine physicians are specially trained in treating adult patients 18 years and older. The physicians are equipped to address common adult illness and preventive care as well as solving difficult, chronic or multiple diagnostic problems. They do not deliver babies, treat children or perform surgery. At the Alexandria Clinic, our Internal Medicine Department provides testing that includes echocardiography, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, Holter monitoring and pulmonary function testing.
