We specialize in Sports Medicine, Pediatrics and Reconstructive surgery. Anything foot or ankle related we can treat including gait analysis and custom orthodics for each patient. Depending on your issue we could recommend one or more types of treatment. Medication, physical therapy, exercise, the elevation and application of ice or cold packs to reduce swelling and promote proper healing. When resting elevate your foot to help drain away excess fluid. There many ways a patient can do on their own to relieve pain that could result in applying cold packs to reduce swelling and control pain. Elevation of the foot and ankle helps to drain away excess fluid.
