Amarillo Medical Specialists is the fastest growing Internal Medicine group in the region.

We now have the largest selection of adult primary care internal medicine physicians, kidney specialists, and diabetes/endocrinology specialists available in the Amarillo area.

We provide care in a private practice setting. Our group is owned and managed by the physicians themselves, not by a large hospital organization, university, management company, or insurance company. We place the patient first, and all care is centered around the patient.

AMS provides:

outpatient primary care and specialty consultations, in-patient hospital care and consultations; laboratory services, in office radiology and ultrasound services; access to your lab results, prescriptions, request refills from home via our internet patient portal, at no extra cost; bone densitometry, nuclear medicine imaging and treatment, and

diagnostic testing for patients throughout the Amarillo area; Clinical research studies using new or investigational treatments.

AMS doctors accept most major insurance plans, and most patients do not need a referral to be evaluated in our offices. (Check with your plan on this.)
