Our Lady of the Lake (OLOL) Regional Medical Center is a 726 bed community hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with more than 1000 physicians and 4000 team members each committed to exceptional patient care. Each year Our Lady of the Lake treats approximately 35, 000 in-patients and 300, 000 out-patients.

For 85 years OLOL had provided care for Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities. Today the hospital offers healthcare expertise in more than 60 medical specialties, a range of leading edge technologies, and equipment few hospitals can match. OLOL is leading the way with advanced electronic medical records and was recently recognized for achieving stage six of the Health Information and Management Systems Society Analytics Medical Record Adoption Model. Only 12 other hospital across the nation have reached this goal.

The hospital continuously demonstrates surgical excellence and conducts more surgical procedures than any other hospital in Louisiana. It ranks number one in the state in the number of open heart and total joint procedures. In addition the surgical service has broadcast live surgeries over the internet including abdominal, orthopedic, cardiac, and ENT procedures.

OLOL is also a community leader in oncology with its participation in a three year pilot program through the National Cancer Institute to bring state-of –the-art cancer care to Baton Rouge. Its pediatric hospital offers a 24/7 pediatric emergency room and the largest pediatric intensive care unit in the area.

Most recently OLOL was recognized as the Consumer Choice hospital for the ninth consecutive year. OLOL is a member of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady (FMOL) Health System which is comprised of St. Francis and St. Francis North in Monroe, Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales.
