ANIMAL CLINIC & HOSPITAL OF JERSEY CITY

The veterinary hospital has been in operation since the 1940's. We have expanded to a 5 veterinarian hospital providing a broader range of services, including behavioral services, boarding and grooming. The interior of the hospital was completely remodeled recently to enable us to bring a better service to the pet owners of Jersey City and the surrounding area. It is a 3, 800 square foot building with an adjacent car park for about 30 automobiles. Dr. Larry Buchholz became a partner at Jersey City Animal Hospital in Oct. 1998 and he has been the sole owner since November 2001.

Office Hours

Monday through Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm

Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The Doctors perform medicine, surgery, behavioral consultations, dentistry, digital x-rays, ultrasound, etc. on small and exotic species. These include dogs, cats, ferrets, smaller mammals (including but not limited to rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, rats, mice, etc), reptiles and amphibians (including but not limited to snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, toads, etc).

At the hospital there is a strong emphasis on Preventative health care for dogs and Preventative health care for cats.We already have the very effective once monthly topical product FRONTLINE, good against fleas and ticks in dogs and cats.
