Animal Hospital of Parkland in Tacoma, WA is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We will treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

If the need for major medical care arises, be assured that every up to date procedure and support equipment will be used to care for your loved one. Each pet that is sick or requires surgery is monitored carefully and given individual attention. They are even given a nice fluffy towel or blanket to sleep on.

For the safety of all pets in our care, your dog or cat must be current on required vaccinations. If not current your pet will be examined and the vaccines will be given during the pets stay in the hospital. We currently require a completed series and current booster for the 3-way vaccine for cats and the Multi-vaccine with Parvo & Distemper for dogs.

Unless requested and provided for by the client we will feed your dog or cat the appropriate Hills Science Diet.
