Arlington Cat Clinic in Arlington Heights, IL has been a full service feline veterinary hospital in the NW suburbs since 1988. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care from kitten hood to its senior years. We specialize in preventive health care including vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and surgery. In addition, we offer behavioral consultations, grooming and boarding services. The clinic also carries effective flea products and special diets, as well as cat toys and gifts.

We see patients on an appointment only basis Monday through Saturday. There is also a 10% senior (owner) discount on Wednesdays.

Knowing that the feral cat population is a problem in the area, Arlington Cat Clinic works with a foster shelter to help place cats in their forever homes.

Detailed description:

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Our senior kitties should have a general checkup every 6 months. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your cats feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services; Surgical Services; Anesthesia; Internal medicine consults; Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your cat. We also carry several lines of prescription diets including Hills, Iams, Royal Canin and Purina.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and health conditions.

Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as inappropriate elimination, spraying, and scratching.

Dentistry: Dental health is very important to the overall well-being of your cat. As in humans, cats can develop peridontal disease, infected teeth, and oral tumors. Intraoral radiographs are available if needed. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental x-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
