When a small group of San Bernardino County employees got together in 1949 to talk about starting a credit union, the financial needs of the Inland Empire were much simpler. Our first members needed the credit union for small loans to help provide for their growing families and payroll deduction to facilitate basic saving habits. Soon enough, these needs changed and Arrowhead added car loans, home loans and checking accounts to help our members with their day-to-day lives. And so it has continued.
