The practice of cardiology is primarily divided into three specialty areas: non-invasive cardiology; interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. At Augusta Cardiology, we have Physicians who specialize in each of these areas.

Our Administration and efficient, friendly staff are available to answer questions during office hours. After hours, send questions about Appointments and Billing via email. If you have scheduled an appointment and want to save some time - print and fill out the Patient Form before your visit. There's always something exciting happening at Augusta Cardiology. At Augusta Cardiology, a physician is on call 24 hours a day. We see patients at University Hospital, Doctors Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital.

CARDIOLOGY SERVICES:

Diagnostic Tests Performed at Physician Offices; Procedures Performed in a Cath Lab within a Hospital; Ongoing Treatment.

Diagnostic Tests Performed at Physician Offices :

Nuclear Cardiology, Patient Instructions Prior to Nuclear Cardiology Studies, Treadmill Stress Test, Echocardiogram, Stress Echocardiogram, Cardiac Doppler, Carotid Ultrasound, Holter Monitoring.

Procedures Performed in a Cardiac Cath Lab Within a Hospital:

Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary Angioplasty, Beta-Cath(TM) System, NOGA, Pacemaker Implantation, AICD Implantation, Electrophysiology (EP) Study / Catheter Ablation, Instructions for Patients Having Procedures performed in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

Ongoing Treatment.

Our office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with the exception of major holidays. During normal office hours our staff is available for scheduling appointments, clinical inquiries and prescription refills.

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday during normal office hours. Schedules appointments can sometimes change due to emergencies and procedure schedules at the hospital.
