Advanced Utility Resources and Supply, Inc. (AURSI) incorporated in November of 2000, with a focus on using technology to streamline business transactions in the Utility industry. AURSI provides value to the utility industry by lowering their overall cost of doing business. AURSI specializes in Electronic Online Material Standards Manuals that provide instant and accurate updates of the utility manuals. AURSI’s major focus is to reduce transaction costs, develop interactive networking and enhance the supply chain management, giving strong support and service to Utility companies nationwide.
Detailed description:
The AURSI System was developed specifically for the Utility (Electric, Gas, Water/Sewer, Telephone, CATV etc.) industry. AURSI provides a complete web-based Approved Material Standards Manual with many adjoining features. The system was designed with the expertise of many Material Standards engineers and Purchasing experts throughout Florida. The system originated at Clay Electric Cooperative and was quickly adopted by the Ocala Electric Utility (Municipal). The AURSI System has a track record already working with high-profile members in Florida—including JEA, Orlando Utilities Commission, Ocala Electric Utility, Leesburg Electric, Kissimmee Utility Authority, Lee County Electric Cooperative, Clay Electric Cooperative, Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, and Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative. Current Suppliers within the AURSI System include Hughes, WESCO Distribution, GRESCO, Electric Supply of Tampa, Electric Sales Associates, Graybar, and UC&I. The expansion of the AURSI System over the last year has been phenomenal based on the Utilities’ and Suppliers’ desire to do business in a different way.
