With a population now over 200, 000, most of which are within 30 miles of Greeley, it has been one of the state’s fastest growing counties for more than a decade.

Weld County’s largest employers include: ConAgra, the University of Northern Colorado, State Farm Insurance and Kodak. Recreation opportunities abound: the Pawnee National Grasslands are just northeast of Greeley, the 22 mile long Poudre River Trail, still under construction, runs in part from Greeley to Fort Collins, there are more than a half dozen public and private golf courses and 35 parks. Greeley is the Weld County seat, and other major communities include Windsor, Eaton, Ault, Johnstown and Kersey.
