Bellevue Rare Coins is a family owned and operated company with about ten people on staff and two locations, We opened our first store West Seattle Coins in West Seattle in 1979, where it sits to this day.

Bellevue Rare Coins is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in rare gold and silver coins, paper money, and heirloom jewelry. This is our second of two stores - the first one, West Seattle Coins, has been in operation in West Seattle since 1979.

The volume of rare coins coming through our doors reflects the public’s rising interest in gold and silver. In order to meet that volume and the customers’ demands, we felt it practical and necessary to take the opportunity to expand by opening a second store.

Bellevue Rare Coins and West Seattle Coins are members of many professional organizations including the American Numismatic Association (AMA), and the Certified Coin Exchange (CCE) – a large network of dealers who share their expertise with fellow members. Both of our stores have friendly, knowledgeable experts on site who maintain our company’s professional integrity and reputation by being as informative and helpful as possible. As frequent auction customers, we have access to millions of prices realized from our auction house representatives. This not only allows us to offer current competitive prices for items we are buying, it also ensures our customers a fair market price for any item purchased from us.

We submit thousands of coins to both of these services, keeping our selection fresh and new. We are also authorized submission centers for both of these services.
