BERKELEY HEIGHTS COMMUNITY POOL

The Berkeley Heights Community Pool was established in 1964 to serve the families of Berkeley Heights. We offer an olympic-size swimming pool featuring two diving boards and two slides. Our shallow end is 2.5 feet deep, perfect for our pre-schoolers learning to swim. We also have a baby pool for our youngest swimmers. Swim and dive teams and lessons, basketball and tennis courts, and tetherball are also on-site. This year we are happy to offer new barbeque grills and refurbushed picnic tables.

The BHCP Swim Team is open to all BHCP members age 7-18. No prior experience is necessary. Our competitors range from first-timers to year-round, National-level swimmers. We compete in the North Jersey Summer Swim League Division 2. The season consists of 8 dual meets plus a Championship Meet.

Our goal is help each swimmer maximize their ability in a team-oriented, fun environment. Many of the swimmers who start out on the BHCP team go on to compete at high school and college levels.
