The Best Electrical Company, Inc. was founded in 1954 by the father of current owner and President, Vic Giacalone. The business has changed over the years, but continues to prosper under Vic’s leadership. In recent years the third generation of Giacalones, Ruth and Nick have joined the Best management team continuing the family tradition.

Best Electrical’s business model stems from long-term relationships with general contractors, architectural firms, developers and business owners who appreciate the quality of Best Electrical's work and value the integrity of the company's management. Best’s union construction team is highly trained by the apprenticeship program and participates in continuing education courses through IBEW and NECA. Routine safety courses are implemented to ensure every jobsite is a safe one - a priority for Best.

He demonstrates the same professional commitment and involvement with the community; he has volunteered with and sat on the boards of many non-profit organizations in San Jose. His philanthropist beliefs are shared and encouraged within Best Electrical. The Best team is encouraged to give back to the communities where they live and work.

Best specializes in design build electrical construction and is experienced in new construction, retrofit/remodel projects, tenant improvement and maintenance for retail, commercial, industrial, educational, historical renovation and high density residential communities.
