BLUE LAKE FINE ARTS CAMP

This program is a division of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, an intensive summer music camp with dance, theater, and art programs in beautiful West Michigan

The Suzuki Family Camp is designed as a family experience. Enrollment is open to violin, viola, cello, bass and piano students studying Suzuki literature. The daily schedule will include 3 one-hour classes: a small group lesson with individualized instruction, a larger technique class, and a repertoire review class. Housing in cabins and meals are available on the Blue Lake campgrounds.

String chamber music and orchestra classes are available for students 9 years and older and in violin Book 5, Viola, Book 3, Cello Book 3. Chamber music students have 4 classes daily, private lesson class, repertoire review class, orchestra, and quartet.

Blue Lake's impact on shaping young lives is defined by our past students and the thousands of dedicated counselors, staff, and faculty who have served Blue Lake since its inception. Our original mission to inspire young artists to achieve their potential has not waivered since our first day of camp in 1966. We are pleased to continue that tradition in 2011, and look forward to meeting Blue Lake's future alumni this summer.
