Detailed description:

In 1972, Jerome, Bruce, and Mark Urbanosky, with the help of their parents, opened a feed store in Pearland, Texas. At the early ages of 19, 17, and 15, these young entrepreneurs enjoyed steady growth and success in their business. They subsequently opened two more stores in Tomball, Texas and Conroe, Texas. It was then the corporation, American Superior Feeds, was established.

Under the American Superior Feeds brand, a horse feed supplement, Stride Equine Diet Balancer, was developed. Stride’s incredible results led to national success, and a decision was made to expand into the feed manufacturing business. In 1982, American Superior Feeds purchased a large, modern feed manufacturing facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and began operating it as Bluebonnet Milling Company.

Since the beginning, superior quality has been a distinctive characteristic of American Superior Feeds, Inc. products and services. The Company is determined to offer only the best quality feeds, and is proud to be a leader in producing new and innovative products for all types of livestock, birds, pets, and other animals.

The vision that led three young brothers to open that first feed store is the same kind of vision, which inspires animal owners to want only the best care for their animals. Bluebonnet shares that vision and commitment to quality animal care with their valued customers.

Today, Bluebonnet Feeds, LP’s Bluebonnet logo is widely known and its products are considered among the highest quality on the market.
