Buckner Terrace Animal Clinic was founded in 1981. Originally the clinic was in a small strip shopping center on Jim Miller, but was moved to its present location in 1990. Buckner Terrace Animal Clinic had been selected for the 2008 Dallas Award in the Animal Hospitals category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

Buckner Terrace Animal Clinic is involved in providing medical, surgical, nutritional, educational and preventative health assistance to small animals.
