At the Buffalo Medical Group we use a “multidisciplinary approach” to deliver patient care. This means that our physicians and health care professionals often work as a team to provide your care. If your care requires you to be seen by more than one physician, we can often eliminate the need for multiple visits to various locations by scheduling appointments for you within the Group on the same day.

The BMG staff is able to perform routine laboratory testing on site. Blood work results will be made available to both the After Hours Care Center health care providers as well as your primary care doctor.

Routine x-rays also are available at the After Hours Care Center, and will be performed as necessary. The results will be interpreted by the After Hours Care Center physician and later reviewed by a board certified radiologist

before being sent to your physician.

BMG physicians participate with most insurance companies, which means that prescriptions you receive at the After Hours Care Center should be covered through your prescription plan. If you require a refill for medication

given to you at the After Hours Care Center, please contact your physician.

The After Hours Care Centers in Williamsville and Orchard Park should not be used for emergency or urgent conditions. However, if you have a medical problem, it is very important to contact your primary care physician who will determine if the After Hours Care Center is appropriate to treat your condition.
