Our surgeons are all either board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery and attend continuing education courses on a regular basis. We contribute to the growth of the art and science of neurosurgery internationally by presenting original manuscripts at neurosurgical meetings and publishing in the neurosurgical journals.

Intracranial abnormalities include, tumors (benign or malignant), vascular malformations (AVMs, Aneurysms), hematomas, and infections. Management of intracranial abnormalities has progressed rapidly over the past decade.

This progress has largely been focused on developing procedures that are less invasive. These procedures and modalities include Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, stereotactic image guided surgery, microscopic surgery, lasers, and endoscopic surgery. Recently, endoscopic techniques have allowed for the endoscopic removal of pituitary tumors through the nostril.
