Caravan Classics was founded in 2000 and focuses on a quality oriented, limited edition production that specializes in the re-creation of classical Chinese & traditional East Turkestan designs. They also develop a more contemporary line based on antique Chinese silk textiles. The company is motivated by the prospect of creating new rugs that rival in spirit a few dozen masterpieces that have left an indelible mark on the antique carpet industry. Each aspect of the carpet making process is carefully monitored to accomplish this exacting goal. Top quality materials, highly skilled Chinese weavers and some of the world’s most noteworthy classic designs all play a part in arriving at a unique carpet that the company believes is a masterpiece in its own right.
