Caravan Rug is the attribute of historic trails, a trilogy of life without any boundaries. Since it's commencement in the 1930's, at the main bazaar of Tehran, Caravan Rug has been recognized as a vertically integrated company that has been perfected over the decades as the foundation for providing rugs for all walks of life. Given the grand scale and demand of our production and selection in the European marketplace Caravan Rug expanded its business to Germany and opened its first European showroom in early 1950's. With all expectations met in less than 10 years the founders of the company decided to branch out to the United States in early 1960's to open up their first and now the main showroom and center of operation, located in Beverly Hills, California. Caravan rug has always been the rug maven on all levels, specializing in the most exclusive antique rugs, and similar textile weaves for interior designers as well as the sophisticated consumer. With the level of expertise in the antique world came forth the birth of the legendary Bamyan collection by Caravan Rug.
