CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Care Animal Hospital was opened by Dr. Mark Higgins in February 1994. The hospital started with just Dr. Higgins and one other employee, both working all aspects of the clinic from kennels to front desk. Since then we have expanded to include three additional doctors and over sixteen full and part-time staff members. A lot of things have changed since we originally opened our doors sixteen years ago, but one thing remains the same; our dedication to serving pets and their owners in the best possible way

We recognize that your pet is an important member of your family. Because your pet's good health is a priority to our staff, we will keep you informed of the best opportunities for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. If there are ever any questions, please feel free to ask

To allow plenty of time for all office visits, we request that you schedule appointments. Walk-ins are accepted though appointments will be given priority (except emergencies). Appointments will be assigned to the first available doctor unless you specify a preference. If you wish to see a particular veterinarian, you should tell our receptionist when booking your pet's appointment.

After Hours Care - Most after hours emergencies will be handled by the Animal Emergency Center. During times when our hospital is closed, they have a veterinarian, staff, and equipment to handle even the most serious emergencies. Their telephone number as well as a veterinarian's staff phone number may be obtained by calling our office number.
