For more than 20 years, Carolina Parent has helped generations of parents raise their children. We are known as the most trusted resource in the Triangle, and we take this responsibility seriously. Over the past two decades, Carolina Parent has persisted in fulfilling our mission of providing the highest standard of parenting information and advice.

Our readers are the parents of children ages 18 and under who live in the Triangle. We're also a resource for educators and daycare and health care providers throughout the community. With a circulation of 51, 000, Carolina Parent magazine has a readership of more than 119, 000.

Founded in 1988, Carolina Parent, a free publication, continues to inform, support and advise parents throughout the Triangle area. Parents pick up copies of the magazine at places they frequent: libraries, grocery stores, public and private schools, preschools, day-care centers, medical offices and area hospitals, retail locations and other family-friendly sites.

Carolina Parent also provides five annual auxiliary publications: the Baby Guide; the Guide for Families on the Go; the Parents' Guide to NC Colleges and Universities; Special Edition — our new publication for families with special needs children — and our new Education Guide.

We also have annual special events such as the Camp & Education Fair, Baby Fair, Wo+men at Work Event and our Carolina Parent U Speaker series.

Carolina Parent publishes 12 monthly magazines and five annual guides, sends periodic e-newsletters and maintains an active website with daily updates and blogs. We also host four to six special events a year.
