CASSIO WERNECK'S BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU ACADEMY

The premier Jiu Jitsu training facility in Northern California, Cassio’s students come from all around the Sacramento area to receive world class training - including Roseville, Davis, Rocklin as well as Folsom, Citrus Heights, Granite Bay, Elk Grove, and South Sacramento.

Stripes on white belts will be handed out as Cassio sees fit. There are four stripes before blue belt. At this time stripes are only being handed out to white belts. They are a tool to not only acknowledge your hard work on the mat but to act as a guideline for who you can train with and how you can train.

The white belt stripe rules break down as follows:

0 & 1 stripe:

Only permitted to train with blue belts or above.

2, 3 & 4 stripes:

Can train with anyone two or more stripes.

When you are awarded a stripe it is your responsibility to put the stripe on your belt, if your not sure how just ask for help. You have one week to put the stripe on your belt. After one week will not be allowed on the mat until you get your stripe on.

California Jiu Jitsu Instructor Cassio Werneck

World class black belt competitor, instructor and member of the elite Brazilian Top Team. He is the only actively competing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in the Sacramento area. Cássio is a passionate instructor and competitor that enjoys teaching authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to his students. He teaches six days a week including both adult and child classes. Cássio’s goal is to continue to impart his extensive knowledge and experience of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to his students while continuing to learn and improve his game.

Cássio became a World Champion in 2003 and continues to compete in regional, national, and global Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments.
