The Castine Yacht Club is a private club dedicated to the encouragement of yachting in our Town. The use of our facilities is not offered on a commerical basis, but rather as a courtesy extended to visitors from other yacht clubs.
Detailed description:
Sailing lessons for juniors are scheduled for eight consecutive weeks this season, beginning June 29. Junior sailors are between the ages of 8 and 18, having completed second grade. The junior sailing lessons are staffed by a Senior Instructor or Sailing Master and US Sailing Association Certified Assistant Instructors. Lessons are scheduled Monday through Thursday. Friday is reserved for our traditional Day Sail, for intermediate to advanced students. Parents are encouraged to come along on the Friday Day Sail. You do not need a boat, but additional yachts are always welcome.
