Short profile:
At Cat Care Professionals, caring for felines isn’t just our job—it’s our driving passion. We know that even the most routine veterinary visit can be overwhelming and scary for a cat, and in the event of a surgery or serious illness, it can be traumatic for the owner as well. We do everything in our power to put our clients and patients at ease, providing a clean, comfortable, and stress-free environment dedicated to the health and wellness of each pet we treat.
At Cat Care Professionals, we’re committed to the health, happiness and longevity of your cat. By acquiring a thorough understanding of your cat’s unique personality, lifestyle, history, age and pre-existing conditions our feline-exclusive vets will work with you to meet his or her needs. Below are just some of the services we offer:
General Examinations & Consultations: During a consultation, our feline doctors will perform a detailed thorough exam in our low-stress environment assisted by specially trained “catnurses”.
Detailed description:
Behavior consultations: Some of the most common questions we receive from cat owners pertain to behavioral issues. Whether your cat is using the rug as a litter box, fighting with other household pets, or scratching furniture, we can help get to the root of the problem, correct the behavior, and help you improve your relationship with your pet.
Second opinions: We often see families who seek additional information before making decisions regarding their cat’s health care.
Surgery: In the event your cat needs a surgical procedure, we provide a completely sterile environment, and use smaller instruments better suited to the feline anatomy.
Feline Dentistry: Just like in humans, cats’ teeth must be regularly examined to prevent the onset of dental health problems.
Gingivitis is the most common undiagnosed disease which left untreated can cause early kidney failure, infections and other problems.
Weight Management & Nutrition: Too often, cat owners make the mistake of feeding their pet whatever food is most convenient and least expensive. Providing your cat with a nutritional, well-balanced diet is critical to his or her health and longevity. We’ll provide expert guidance on choosing the right foods and providing the appropriate portions to prevent the life-threatening implications of obesity.
Boarding:
During your pet’s stay, we’ll accommodate all of their special needs, including scheduled medications, nutritious diets, gentle grooming, fun and exercise in our custom playroom, and plenty of TLC.
Grooming: While cats are notorious self-groomers, there are situations where elderly or disabled felines can’t do as good of a job as they used to.
Emergency Care: During regular business hours, Cat Care Professionals provides emergency services to all clients, working quickly to treat life-threatening conditions.
