Detailed description:
EDO staff includes the EDO Director, the Redevelopment Manager, Business Development Specialist, Economic Research Analyst and the Administrative Services Coordinator. The EDO serves as staff to Enterprise Charlotte--the advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners on economic development issues--and to the Charlotte County Industrial Development Authority.
Enterprise Charlotte Economic Council, Inc. called the Economic Council, for short, is a non-profit 501(c)6 investor driven organization which was established to partner with the Charlotte County Economic Development Office in recruiting diversified, high impact industry to Charlotte County and to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest in the long-term vitality of Charlotte County. The Economic Council is governed by a Board of Directors, meets on a monthly basis and is not subject to Florida Sunshine Laws.
