Christ the King Lutheran Church of Vestal, NY; a Reconciling in Christ Congregation. Our church's mission is "to bring healing and new life to hurting and hungering people through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." We are a small to medium size church with aspirations of growing by attracting more young members. We are child friendly with supervised Nursery care during church services, we have Sunday School for children through grade 6, and Youth Groups split up for grades 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12th.

Jesus and Friends - Children's Ministry

In Stephen Ministry congregations, lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.

We're also a "Reconciling in Christ" congregation. That means we offer a warm and explicit welcome to everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation -- or, for that matter, their race, social class or any other designation. When we say everyone's welcome at Christ The King, we mean it!

We are an active congregation involved in many causes helping people in our church and outside it. There are classes to help us in our spiritual growth and there are small groups to get involved in, to make friends in, and share fellowship with. We have two different styles of Sunday services; one for those looking to keep close to the more traditional service they are familiar with, and another with more contemporary songs and prayers.
