CLARK COLLEGE

In 1933, in the midst of the Great Depression, a group of educators boldly embraced a dream of higher education for Southwest Washington. Seventy-five years later, that dream still resonates for Clark College and the community it serves.

Dedicated to the highest standards of education, Clark College was granted initial accreditation in 1937 based upon a visit by a committee of five professors from the University of Washington. In 1948, the college received accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Through periodic reviews, it has maintained that standing to this day.
