Dr. Bennett views the mouth as the window to the rest of the body. Precursors to disease like chronic inflammation, connective tissue breakdown, acid stress and oxidative stress all have signs that can be seen in the mouth.

We know that if these signs are present in the mouth, they may also be present in other areas of the body. They may indicate a potential change in body chemistry which can eventually lead to disease.

Because Dr. Bennett understands the important connection between dental health and the health of the body, he offers a nutritional approach to dental health and whole body health.

In dental school, Dr. Bennett learned that mercury in silver fillings was stable and safe. But after practicing for ten years he began to recognize that mercury may leach out of the filling and expose the patient to the potential health hazards of chronic mercury exposure. After thorough research, he has concluded that there is a health hazard associated with mercury in silver fillings. His dental practice has been mercury free for over 15 years. Dr. Bennett takes pride in protecting the patient and staff from unnecessary exposure to mercury.
