Community Care Hospital is a small, locally owned psychiatric hospital nestled in the heart of beautiful uptown New Orleans. We are known for our personalized care, offering small inpatient units to adult and geriatric patients in a relationship-centered environment. In order to meet the many needs of our patients, Community Care provides a full continum of care, including inpatient psychiatric care, partial hospitalization services, and intensive outpatient programs, as well as individual and family counseling. Community Care Hospital has been serving New Orleans and the surrounding areas for 14 years, with a mission to improve the mental health and well being of our patients by being the premier psychiatric provider to our community through personalized and quality care.

Community Care Hospital is a comprehensive mental health facility, located at 1421 General Taylor Street, just one block off St. Charles Avenue, in the historic Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana. We provide quality, in-patient care for patients suffering from mental illnesses such as:

Depression, Schizophrenia, Personality & Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder.

This multi-disciplinary staff is committed to continuity of care for each patient. Patient safety is paramount to the delivery of all care provided.

Discharge planning begins on admission to assure a smooth, treatment supported transition to the most appropriate aftercare program. We will provide the appropriate aftercare protocol to family members and caregivers upon request. Medicare and select private insurances are accepted.
